A Machine Monitor DVR captures and then records video clips
to its hard drive. The following explains how to transfer a video clip
over to your laptop. All video clips in the DVR are less than 10 MB in
size so they can be transferred quickly. Simply access the event log in
the DVR and get ready to export. Clips are preformatted to XXXXX.wmv
file type. Here's how easy it is.
(1) Plug a flash memory stick into a USB port on the
DVR. The user moves a
desired video clip from the hard drive over to the flash memory stick.Just click "EXPORT" in the software. A light will blink
on the flash memory stick.
(2) Remove the flash memory from the Machine Monitor
DVR.
(3) Plug the flash memory into the USB port on your
laptop. Next create an email on the laptop and attach the desired video clip from
flash memory to the email.
Finally, the user sends the email. Send it to
your production manager, a quality person, or even people on the outside like the
people that built your production line (OEMs).
When the email arrives the video clip will open
automatically on Windows Media Player.
This feature is great for showing people what is
wrong with your production line. You don't have spend huge amounts of time
searching for video clips or changing video formats. And most importantly,
you don't have to try and explain the situation over the phone.
