Electrical Controls Engineer/Blogger/Solo Entrepreneur - Peter Bouzek is an
authority in the design of industrial machinery. He has 5 years experience as an electrical control panel designer and programmer. He has
also logged 5 years in plant engineering and maintenance. He is a
graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville School of Engineering.
Peter has a reputation for
focusing on and solving any technical problem related to automated production
lines. He has amazing troubleshooting skills combined with the experience of over 300 electrical
and control panel designs. As time went on, Peter realized that a major problem with all
production lines was managements inability to understand production line
malfunctions. On numerous occasions he witnessed machine
operators being disciplined for machinery problems they had no control over and
could not solve.
For some time he was
looking for an industrial camera that could watch production and automatically
generate footage of malfunctions. Nothing was out there that could do the
job efficiently.
In '02, as a hobby he began developing his own DVR
software specifically for monitoring production lines. After several prototypes Peter started Machine Monitors in January,
'08. He refined the DVR so the user can easily capture footage of
unpredictable malfunctions. Later the user
can show selected video clips to management directly or via email. Sharing
this information dramatically accelerates process improvement.
Currently he resides in
rural Independence, Wisconsin. Peter is also an accomplished writer with
numerous technical manuals and this website.
