Machine Monitor V6.2
What is a malfunction?
A malfunction in an automated machine is any interruption caused by jamming,
stops
and restarts, operator error, or process failure.
What is Machine Monitor V6.2?
It is a video monitoring system that identifies malfunctions in automated machines.
How does it work?
A small camera records video to a special DVR (Digital Video Recorder).
The DVR is triggered by "dry contacts" from the E-stop circuit on your automated machine.
Malfunctions generally occur just before you E-stop.
What do you do when a malfunction is identified?
You create video clip and e-mail it to anyone that is able to help with a fix.
The clip can be viewed on MS Windows Media Player.
Drawing attention to a malfunction makes it much easier to solve.
